Antique Jacquard Coverlet, 1841

This red, white and blue antique coverlet is signed by John Kachel and made for Margaret Wicklein, in 1841.  It measures a large 90 x 95 inches, with nice long vibrant colored fringes and has a beautiful flower pot border. It is made with a double weave and so is reversible, with one side darker and one lighter.
