Antique Jacquard Style Coverlet, 1846

This great antique coverlet is dark blue, lighter blue, red and white.  It was woven by Mathias Klein, in 1846.  It is made with a double weave and is reversible. The pattern includes medallions and birds and the coverlet has fringes on three sides.
