Antique Navy and Cream Summer Winter Coverlet

This coverlet is a Summer Winter coverlet, which is a category of antique coverlets that was intended for use in all seasons.  This style coverlet is also identified by geometric repetitive designs. It measures 73 x 88, and is sewn down the center to attach the two pieces, which is very typical of coverlets made at home on smaller looms.  This coverlet has quite a bit of wear, with holes and separations down the center seam as well as scattered additional holes.  It can either be hung for display, repaired for use, or cut up to make pillows, clothing, etc.  The choice is yours.
