Community Side Chair

Community Side Chair.  Circa 1850.  Possibly Enfield, CT.  Elongated pommels indented 2/3 of the way down.  Then an angled edge from collar to neck.  Straight back posts with scribe marks.  Slats that are graduated in center but not at post joinder.  Slats have strong, flat chamfer.  Possibly original rush seat with some damage.  Found in Enfield, CT which adds further support to provenance.  Approximately 41" high, seat 16" x 13", seat height 16".  Contact us with questions or for additional pictures.
