Shaker Community Child's Rocking Chair

Shaker Community Child's Rocking Chair.  Later conversion of a community side chair into a rocking chair.  Possible reconfiguration of the pommels at the same time.   Changes may have been original Shaker changes.  Chair retains strong straight back posts with original scribe marks clearly visible.  Slats that are graduated in center but not at post joinder.  Top slat secured by wooden pin.  Slats have strong, flat chamfer. Vintage cloth webbed seat. Approximately 33" high, seat 15" x 13", seat height 16".  Contact us with questions or for additional pictures.
