Mount Lebanon Shaker Community Child's Rocking Chair

Shaker Mount Lebanon Child's Slat Back Rocking Chair.  Circa 1840.  Elliptical pommels with two well defined reductions.  3 slats which are not graduated; bottom two with slight bevel. Topmost slat secured with wooden pins.  Scribe marks on backposts.  Tapered stretchers.  Rockers with concave curve between posts and secured with wooden pins.  New pink and white web seat.  Approximately 35" high, seat 16" x 14".  Some damage to slats, but not that detract from overall appearance of chair.  Contact us for price.
