Shaker Doll with authentic Shaker dress

Shaker doll with authentic Shaker dress.  Circa 19thC. During the latter part of the 19thC, commercially purchased dolls were dressed in Shaker costumes and sold in sisters' shops.  The dresses were typically duplicates of adult Shaker women's clothing with the same patterns, materials and carefully done stitching.  This is a nice example.  Please contact us with any questions or for additional pictures.
