Shaker Miniature Room Diorama

One-of-a-kind Shaker miniature room diorama.  This extraordinary miniature diorama includes many pieces by George Hoffman, the brilliant miniature wooden furniture maker from the 1970s who passed away in 2015. Mr. Hoffman was a charter member of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans. He was instrumental in establishing the first Guild Show in 1976, as well as the Guild School in Castine, ME.  His pieces are signed. The pieces by Mr. Hoffman include:  Dining table and 2 benches, 4 ladder back chairs, wood bin with dustpan and brush, hanging wall shelves,  cupboard, washstand and candle stand.
 
The peg rails around the walls are handcrafted by the well-known Shaker miniature craftsman and scholar, Dr. Ken Byers. The miniature pantry boxes are of extremely high quality and craftsmanship. 
 
This display box would be a fabulous museum exhibit or a great addition to a Shaker collection.
