Shaker Sewing Cabinet with Recessed Panel Door

Shaker Sewing Cabinet.  Pine, Maple and Cherry.  Wooden peg and mortise construction.  Overhanging top above a case of two dovetailed graduated drawers.  Drawers have finely turned wooden pulls pegged into drawer fronts.  Lock is missing. Hinged cupboard door with recessed panel on the right side.  28 ¾”H, Top 33”W x 22.5”D.  Circa mid 19th C.  Purchased from a reputable auction house which was auctioning part of the collection of Charles Muller, Shaker furniture authority and author of several Shaker furniture books including “The Shaker Chair”.  Please contact us for additional pictures or ask any questions.  We could even arrange a viewing.
