One Drawer Drop Leaf Work Table

One Drawer Drop Leaf Work Table with Turned Legs. Wooden peg and mortise construction.  Finely turned legs adorned with ring turnings. Deep cherry red painted finish.  Top has staining and marks from use.  Maple drawer front with some crazing.  3 single board top with cookie corner folding sides utilizing two metal folding brackets on each side. Dovetailed full depth drawer with possible hand forged nails securing bottom.  Turned walnut wooden knob on drawer which is screwed into place with an old screw which may not be original.  Measures 27.5”H. Top is 19.5”D and 15.”W closed.  Each leaf is approximately 8”.  Circa mid 19th C.
