Two (2) Colorful Shaker Can Labels

Two (2) Colorful Shaker Can Labels.  "Shakers' String Beans" from the Mount Lebanon Community and "Fresh Tomatoes" from the Watervliet community.  These are original labels intended to be pasted on a can, but never used.  References to "D.C. Brainard" on the string bean label, and "Anna Case" on the tomatoe label, who were trustee of their respective communities, date these labels to the late 19th Century.  Two beautiful examples of quintessential Shaker ephemera.  Tomatoe label measures approximately 14 1/2" long and 4 1/2" tall with the string bean label being slightly smaller.   Please contact us for additional pictures or with any questions.
