Vintage Friendship Church Quilt with Signatures

This special quilt was created at the First Baptist Church of Owensboro, Kentucky.  Each individual square was created by a different church memberr and each member signed her name in embroidery in the block that she sewed.  These quilts were often created as fundraising projects for churches. This interesting historical piece measires 69 x 83 inches, has no batting and some stains on the back.
